The Glow Smart Meter Eligibility APIs can be used to determine whether 1) a meter point is eligible for onboarding in the Glow Platform and 2) if it is eligible for the EUI/Postcode verification method. The full API Reference for these APIs can be found in this folder.Eligibility APIs related to the EUI/Postcode Verification method can be found in this section of the documentation, which explains how you can integrate this Direct Verification Method into your own front-end.The focus of this page is the DCC eligibility checker API, which allows you to determine if a provided MPxN is enrolled in the DCC Inventory and therefore compatible for onboarding in the Glow Platform.
To check if an MPxN is enrolled in the DCC and therefore compatible for onboarding into the Glow Platform, use the following API:
If the provided MPxN does not pass the eligibility check, it is not enrolled in the DCC Inventory, and therefore cannot be onboarded into the Glow Platform. This API should be used for any onboarding method that includes an MPxN capture.
This API can be used to check whether there is an installed IHD, CAD or PPMID in the DCC inventory of a given MPxN. If so, the energy consumer at the property can use the EUI/Postcode Check verification method. This is a Direct Verification Method provided by Glow for automatic energy consumer onboarding.
